My client requested a very specific design of a magnolia in a fine line style for their logo, and I created an illustration they truly loved. The first thing I did on this project was make sketches based on what the client requested, then I created a variety of mockups with different layouts.
Once I finalized my top 3 mockups, I refined the illustration and added all of the fine details like the intricate lines of the magnolia's pystil and the gentle shading on each petal. This project was a great way to expand my skills in botanical illustrations and the final result turned out perfectly!
