Creating a custom illustrated album cover for an EDM artist is no easy feat, but with the use of vector design software, I was able to bring their vision to life.
During the initial consultation with the artist, we discussed their desired aesthetic and vibe for the album. They were drawn towards the retro-futuristic style of synthwave music and wanted that reflected in their visuals.
From there, I began sketching out ideas and concepts that could encapsulate this genre while still remaining unique to the artist's personal brand. Once a concept was decided upon, I started creating vector illustrations that would be used in the final design.
This process allowed for maximum flexibility as it allowed me to easily make adjustments based on feedback from both the artist and myself.
